Terms of Service
Effective 1 January 2026 · Last updated 1 January 2026
Awaiting legal review
This document has been drafted for this site but has not yet been reviewed by a qualified lawyer in our jurisdiction. It is published so the signup flow has something real to link to. Treat it as a working draft until this banner is gone.
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Rebirthed LLC, trading as Rebirthed Group (“ViralMMA”, “we”, “us” or “our”), the operator of https://viralmma.com and any related pages, feeds and email we publish (together, the “Service”).
Please read section 18 (Disclaimers), section 19 (Limitation of Liability) and section 21 (Disputes, Arbitration and Class Waiver) carefully. They limit our liability to you and affect how any dispute between us is resolved, including by requiring individual arbitration instead of a court trial or a class action.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing the Service, creating an account, submitting content, or subscribing to our email, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you accept these Terms on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation, and “you” means that organisation.
2. Eligibility and age
You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account. We collect a date of birth at registration for this purpose and for no other. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
Some parts of the Service — in particular material described in section 14 — may carry a higher minimum age in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for complying with the law where you are.
We do not knowingly permit accounts for anyone under 13. If we learn that we hold an account or personal information belonging to someone under that age, we will close the account and delete the information.
3. Your account
3.1 Registration
You must give accurate information when you register and keep it current. You may hold one account unless we agree otherwise in writing. You may not sell, rent or transfer your account, and you may not use another person’s account.
3.2 Security
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use. We offer two-factor authentication and recommend you enable it.
Recovery codes issued for two-factor authentication are a complete substitute for both factors. Treat them as you would your password. We will never ask you for one.
3.3 Linked accounts
You may connect third-party accounts to your profile, either by authorising us through that provider or by typing a handle yourself. A hand-typed handle is displayed but is never marked as verified, and we make no representation that it belongs to you. Connecting an account is also governed by that provider’s own terms.
3.4 Closing your account
You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Deleting your account removes your profile, uploaded images and account record. Content you have already published — including comments and any story published under your byline — may remain on the Service as part of the published record, though we will disassociate it from your profile on request where we can reasonably do so.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to attempt to:
- post anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, obscene, or that incites violence;
- post content that infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights;
- impersonate any person or organisation, including a fighter, promotion, official or member of our staff;
- post another person’s private information — home address, phone number, medical or financial details, or anything else that could identify or locate them — without their consent;
- use the Service to advertise, spam, phish, or distribute malware;
- manipulate polls, votes, view counts, rankings or any other metric, including through automated means or multiple accounts;
- scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-download the Service except as permitted by our
robots.txt, or use it to train a machine-learning model without our prior written permission; - circumvent, disable or interfere with security, rate limiting, bot protection or access controls;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems, or breach any authentication measure, except under a written agreement with us; or
- interfere with the operation of the Service or the enjoyment of it by anyone else.
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please tell us at [email protected] rather than demonstrating it against live accounts or data belonging to other people.
5. Content you submit
5.1 Ownership
You keep ownership of everything you submit — comments, story submissions, tips, images, profile text and anything else (together, “Your Content”). We claim no ownership in it.
5.2 Licence you grant us
By submitting Your Content, you grant Rebirthed LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, edit, publish, translate, distribute, publicly perform and publicly display Your Content, in any media now known or later developed, in connection with operating and promoting the Service.
This licence exists so we can run the site: display your comment on a story, run your submission under your byline, include an excerpt in our newsletter or social posts, and keep the published record intact. It continues for as long as we host the content and for a reasonable period afterwards for archival and backup purposes. It does not permit us to sell Your Content as a standalone product.
5.3 Your promises
By submitting Your Content you represent and warrant that:
- you own it or otherwise have all rights necessary to grant the licence in section 5.2;
- it does not infringe or misappropriate anyone’s rights;
- it is not defamatory, and any statement of fact in it is true to the best of your knowledge; and
- its publication will not breach any law or any duty of confidence you owe to someone else.
5.4 We are not obliged to publish
We may refuse, edit, remove, or decline to publish any content, at any time, with or without notice and with or without reason. We are under no obligation to monitor Your Content, but we may do so. Nothing in these Terms makes us responsible for content submitted by users.
6. Reader-filed stories
Anyone with an account may file a story for editorial consideration. Filing a submission does not create an employment, contractor, partnership or agency relationship, and does not entitle you to payment unless we agree payment in writing beforehand.
- An editor reads every submission. We may publish it, send it back with notes, or decline it.
- We may edit a submission for accuracy, length, legal risk, clarity and house style, including its headline.
- Published submissions run under your byline. Ask us at [email protected] if you need that changed.
- Embedded HTML is stripped from every reader-filed story as a security measure, whatever your account role becomes later.
- Once a submission is published it becomes part of the editorial record and is governed by our corrections policy rather than by deletion on request.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you file and for having the right to file it. If you obtained material under a confidentiality obligation, do not send it to us.
7. News tips and sources
You may send us a tip with or without your name. Please read this section before you do.
- Sending a tip does not create a confidential or privileged relationship and does not oblige us to publish anything, respond, or keep the tip secret.
- If you choose the anonymous option, we discard the name, email address and phone number you entered before the tip is stored — they are not merely hidden from staff.
- We record the IP address a tip was sent from for abuse prevention. The anonymous option is not technical anonymity. If you need that, use a service designed for it and do not rely on this form.
- We do not publish a named source’s identity without asking them first, and we will resist compelled disclosure to the extent the law allows — but we cannot promise to defeat a valid court order.
Our fuller commitments on sourcing are set out in our ethics policy and editorial standards.
8. Comments and moderation
Comments are a facility we provide, not a right. We may remove any comment, close comments on any story, and suspend or ban any account, at our discretion. Comments from accounts are normally published immediately; comments without an account are held for review before they appear.
Removed comments are retained internally, together with a record of who removed them and why, so that a moderation decision remains reviewable. We are not obliged to explain an individual decision, though we will usually try.
9. Email from us
Our newsletter is double opt-in: we send nothing until you confirm your address from the link we email you. Every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe link that works without signing in and takes effect immediately. We also send transactional email relating to your account — password resets, verification, security notices and notifications about your own content — and you cannot opt out of those while you hold an account.
10. Our content and trademarks
Except for Your Content and third-party material, everything on the Service — articles, photographs, layout, graphics, the rankings we publish, and the software behind it — is owned by Rebirthed LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws.
You may read, link to and share the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. You may not republish substantial portions, create derivative works, or use our material commercially without our written permission.
ViralMMA and our logo are our trademarks. All other names, logos and marks — including those of promotions, organisations and events referred to on the Service — belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and editorial commentary only. ViralMMA is an independent publication and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) or any other promotion, sanctioning body or athlete.
11. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent containing all of the following:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail — normally a URL — for us to locate it;
- your name, address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Designated agent
-
[Name of designated agent]
Rebirthed LLC
[Street address]
[City], [State] [ZIP]
United States
[email protected]
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent containing your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, if outside the United States, of the state and federal courts located in [County], [State]).
Misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may expose you to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. §512(f). We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
12. Third-party content and links
The Service embeds and links to material we do not control, including video hosted by third parties, links to other sites, and fighter and event data supplied under licence. We do not endorse it, do not warrant its accuracy, and are not responsible for it. Your use of an embedded or linked service is governed by that service’s own terms and privacy policy, and it may collect information about you when you interact with it.
13. Editorial content, rumours and rankings
ViralMMA publishes reporting, commentary, opinion and — clearly labelled — rumour. We strive for accuracy and correct errors openly under our corrections policy. Nothing on the Service is a warranty that a statement is complete or free from error, and material labelled as rumour or opinion should be read as exactly that.
Our rankings are our own editorial opinion. They are not the official rankings of any promotion or sanctioning body, carry no competitive consequence, and are produced by our editors rather than by any panel affiliated with the sport’s governing organisations.
Records, results, schedules and biographical data may come from third-party sources and may be incomplete or out of date. If you spot something wrong, tell us at [email protected].
14. Betting and wagering content
Gambling is regulated differently everywhere and is unlawful in some places. You are solely responsible for knowing and complying with the law where you are, and for any decision you make. Never wager money you cannot afford to lose. If gambling is causing you harm, help is available — in the United States, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is 1-800-522-4700.
15. No professional advice
Nothing on the Service is medical, legal, financial or professional advice, including anything relating to injury, weight cutting, training, nutrition, contracts or investment. Consult a qualified professional before acting on anything you read here.
16. Availability and changes to the service
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not promise the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, and we may impose limits on features or storage. We will try to give notice of material changes where it is reasonable to do so.
17. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where we suspend an account we will normally tell you why.
Sections 5.2, 10, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 24 survive termination, together with any other provision that by its nature should survive.
18. Disclaimers
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
19. Limitation of liability
These limits apply even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
20. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rebirthed LLC and its officers, employees and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, and reasonable legal fees arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right. We may assume the exclusive defence of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you will cooperate with us.
21. Disputes, arbitration and class waiver
21.1 Talk to us first
Before starting any formal proceeding, please email [email protected] describing the problem and what you want. Most disputes can be resolved that way. If we cannot resolve it within sixty days, either of us may proceed under this section.
21.2 Binding individual arbitration
The arbitrator decides all issues except that a court decides whether section 21.3 is enforceable. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction. Arbitration will take place in the state and federal courts located in [County], [State] or, at your election, remotely or in the county where you live.
21.3 Class action waiver
21.4 Your right to opt out
You may opt out of sections 21.2 and 21.3 by emailing [email protected] with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out” and your account name, within thirty days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out affects nothing else in this agreement, and we will not close your account or treat you differently for doing it.
21.5 Exceptions
Either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either of us may seek injunctive relief in court for infringement or misuse of intellectual property. Nothing here prevents you from reporting a matter to a government agency.
22. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and by the Federal Arbitration Act as to section 21. Any matter not subject to arbitration will be brought exclusively in the state and federal courts located in [County], [State], and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, nothing here deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of the country where you live, or of your right to bring proceedings there.
23. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above, and for material changes we will give reasonable advance notice — by a notice on the Service or, if you hold an account, by email. Changes take effect on the date stated. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not, stop using the Service and close your account.
24. General provisions
- Entire agreement
- These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about the Service and supersede any prior understanding.
- Severability
- If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains in force.
- No waiver
- Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment
- You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Force majeure
- Neither party is liable for a failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
- Notices
- We may give notice by email to the address on your account or by posting on the Service. Notices to us must go to [email protected].
- No third-party beneficiaries
- These Terms create no rights for anyone who is not a party to them.
- Relationship
- Nothing here creates a partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship between us.
